We had a major issue with a wan link (T1 leased p2p) recently. The issue has since been corrected, but as I have logging set to debug on the serial line, I'm still logging the following error of keelalive time mismatch. Yet I've checked the router at each end and they are both keepalives are set to 10. Anybody know what might be causing this? Thanks...
That looks like a timing issue of some sort. Normally, HDLC keepalive values are set in the router because that Layer 2 protocol is independent of the telco. Are there errors on the interface still? Perhaps packet corruption or a bad IOS image?
This is actually a pretty cool feature, i didn't even know it existed until I was looking for a solution to advertise a subnet (prefix in BGP talk), only if a certain condition existed. This is exactly what conditional advertisements does
