Does anyone use the Kingston PCMCIA Flash cards, in special with Catalyst 6000 series switches?
For own Flash Card Cisco permit inserting into working supervisor module. From Kingston support a can't take the clear answer.
On the back side of Kinston Flash card I found the warning message: "Turn off computer before inserting or removing this card to prevent any demage".
Infortunately, I can't turn off my switch.

I doubt, if memory modules can be hotswapped. Mostly the memories chips might get damaged, when inserted, while the switch is online.
