I have a 6509 running KTOS and a Blade server switch running IOS.
I would like to have a 2 gig etherchannel between the two.
Can any one see/no if there will be any issues configuring and connecting these two? Any incompatibility with IOS and KTOS?
Regards and thanks.
Mike.

Hi Mike,
With blade server switch do you mean cat6509 running integrated IOS.
If yes you can very well create etherchannel between CATOS and IOS without any issues and there is no incompabitlity.

It's a seperate 6509 and a HP blade server with a built in cisco switch at each end.
Ok to keep it simple.
If i want to connect a 6509 (KTOS) to a 3750 (IOS) using a 2 gig etherchannel will this be ok? Any issues?
Thanks.

Those switches are generally considered to be a 2950 on slot card so there should be no issues . We have etherchannels and trunks running to some IBM blades with the cisco switches in them .

Glen thanks for that, my main concern is that (now I have corrected myself KTOS=CATOS) CATOS and IOS will chat spanning tree to each other with no glitches. E.G. The 6000 Cats with KTOS to the 2950's with IOS.
Thanks.
Mike.
