L3MD and L3MD_STAT ?

Hello,

I want to know the function on theses processes :

L3MD :Layer 3 Multicast Driver Process

L3MD_STAT :Layer 3 Multicast Driver Stat Proscess

On a cat3550, we have 6% of multicast flow. However, there isn't any multicast traffic on this switch.

That does not sound like much multicast at all on the switch. You may need to get with Cisco directly over this issue.
