LAN disconnection problems

Hi,

In my network at ground floor we have intel 510T switches for connecting ground floor systems, as well as in the first floor we are using 1 Cisco 3500 series switch, one 1900 series switch and another one 3com switch, these three switches are cascaded, we are using optic fibre cable for connecting ground floor and first floor network.

now in firstfloor machines are randomly disconnecting with the ground floor network, Its again recognize the ground floor machines after made a ping with any of the machines in first floor.

Can some can help me out to resolve this problem?

Thanks in advance

Re: LAN disconnection problems

Hi This one seem to be a problem with ARP cache in the switches.Once you establish the connection with all the switches , means after a ping operation, try to find out the ARP cache entries on the switches and modify accordlingly.
