A customer of ours has a fairly large WAN and a poorly designed address scheme. The result is a very large routing table with little room for summarization. The routing table of a typical WAN connected router is over 60 pages in length. My task is to recommend a new WAN connected router that will have enough horsepower to handle a routing table of that size and not introduce a bottleneck.
