Layer 3 switch

If I have 110 users in an office and they each need to have a gigabit con what type of layer three switch would I need-and how many.

Would I user fibre to connect the users to the switch

Catalyst 3550, 4500, 6500 offer 1 gig copper/fiber ports. Some of the line cards/switches might not be wire speed. Depending on what you want, you might want to make the decision.
