Line 33 always to be held on terminal server.

I am configuring a 2611XM router as a terminal server. Line 33 - 40 will be connected to switches and routers.

The problem is that the line 33 alway in use and idle time will be re-counted every 5 seconds, so I can not reach the router that is connected to this line through reverse telnet 1.1.1.1 2033.

I never met this issue before, anyone has any idea about it?

Try setting 'no exec' on that line (and the other lines) to prevent your terminal server from sending a login prompt (and tying up the line) when it sees input from the device it's connected to.

It works. Thx! But I am still wondering why it only happened if I connect the remote router to TS using AUX port, and only on the Line 33?
