I'm working on Access Server 5300 & 5800. I need to control the speeds the user connects on. there is a commmand called speed. I tried to write this command at the line configuration but it doesn't accept it. As if I didn't write it at all there at the configuration..
line 140 150
THEN when viewing the show running-config, I don't find it there !!!! why ? please help
I have an AS5300 and I try to change some parameters at the same level you are doing with speed. It did not work, that is, the parameter was accepted but the connection was done in a different way. Finally, using modem capabilities (MODEMCAP) all parameters required were correctly set.
By the way, check the speed 13500, may be is not supported by your modems.
This is actually a pretty cool feature, i didn't even know it existed until I was looking for a solution to advertise a subnet (prefix in BGP talk), only if a certain condition existed. This is exactly what conditional advertisements does
