Link down in both ports of the Gigastacks

Hello everybody,

Every time one of the two ports of the gigastacks goes up or down, the whole module (so the second port) goes down during a time (I suppose recalculating connections).

I mean, if I have a 4 switch stack, with one gigastack module per switch, no redundancy and no spanning tree and the switch number 4 goes down, the module in switch 3 goes down and so the modules in switch 2 and 1.

Apart from using two gigastack modules per switch, is there any solution to this point?

This one seems to have lot of information about gigastack. See if you can find any solution for your requirement here.

You can also check the following link to see if you can use Crossstack uplinkfast feature of spanning tree for your requirement.
