Is there any commands in either catos or IOS that would send a trap on links that are dirty but still functioning ? I see something in the newer catos of "set errordetection portcounters " but from what I have read this just puts the info in the syslog and doesn't send a trap and I don't want to trap on the whole syslog . Have not found anything like this in IOS that I could find , anyone have any ideas short of looking thru tons of snmp reports on links ?
