Link redandant problem with core 6009

hello,

i have 2 catalyst 3500xl stacked with gigastack,configured in mode cluster.both switch has link FO with core6009.first link is in mode forward,second is in mode block.

when the first link go down,the second link doesn't work.

can anyone advise me???

i have same configuration in other office ,and it work well.

Not sure what is breaking here.

You should check with show spanning-tree vlan x detail to see what your new root port is to the 6009. I would guess that should (after the first link goes down) be the second port.

This command shows you what is going on for spanning tree

for that vlan. Just issue it a few times to make sure there

aren't any more bpdu's coming in on the first link (and verify

the link is down) and that the second link is receving BPDU's
