How do you enable logging of the fast ethernet ports link status (Up/Down). I have enabled under the interface the "snmp trap link status" command, but I still do not see on the console the port insert and de-inserting. I have logging on as well as logging to console. I have tried ter mon with no results as well. I imagine it's some sort of SNMP parameter I'm missing, but I tired of looking through documentation. Please let me know what commands that need to be enabled for link status messages to be viewed on the console as well as show up in the logging buffer.
This is actually a pretty cool feature, i didn't even know it existed until I was looking for a solution to advertise a subnet (prefix in BGP talk), only if a certain condition existed. This is exactly what conditional advertisements does
