Is it possible to link or daisy chain (2) 3620s together via fast ethernet port? My office does not want to upgrade but we do have another 3620 available. The second router will handle 2 remote offices with minimal traffic. Any other recommendations would be appreciated.
there is no way to daisy chain...but u can just hook the second 3620 into the lan. Run a routing protocol (mostly u shud have already) on the new 3620. The 2 remote offices can be linked to the 3620 via leased line/ frame-relay.
This is actually a pretty cool feature, i didn't even know it existed until I was looking for a solution to advertise a subnet (prefix in BGP talk), only if a certain condition existed. This is exactly what conditional advertisements does
