Linkup /Adapter teaming in servers

We are using adapter teaming in servers, each adapter connected to different switches. When primary adapter/switch fails connection is working via secondary adapter/switch. As soon as the primary switch comes back up the server adapter teaming will fall back to primary.

Problem is that if primary switch boots the ports will signal linkup BEFORE the switch has booted, and the server notice that primary adapter is up, thus sendiong frames thru this adapter. As switch is not OK booted, the connection is lost during the time switch boots.

Is there some command to prevent the switch from sending linkup on ports until the boot process is finished.

Re: Linkup /Adapter teaming in servers

Link failures are detected by probe responses or by monitoring link status and link activity, so I am not sure if there is a way by which the link up messages can be delayed.
