Load balancing traffic over two t 1's

I have two t1's going to the same site. I would like to have traffic go across both, right now all the traffic is going across one of the t's. I am running ospf.

Each T1 goes into a different router on each side, if I do a show ip route to a subnet to the site from my side. the metric is the same. The network looks like this Router ---->T1-----> Router Router ---->T1-----> Router . I have played with the ospf cost command but I can't acheive any load balancing across both it always takes just one path. Thanks

This is your design:

site_a router1---T1---router2 site_b

site_a router3---T1---router4 site_b

Are you using per packet or per destination load balancing? Have you used the commands maximum-paths in conjunction with the ip ospf cost?

It may help to post the config.

Steve

That is correct. I am using per destination load balancing. I have not used the maximum paths command.

Can you enter the max paths and see what happens.

Steve
