Loadsharing with Two CAS

We want to loadshare incoming ISDN calls (one and/or two channels) from our supplier's network over 2 CAS.

We can configure both CAS on the DSAS with the same priority. They will be accessed by the NAS in a round-robin fashion under the same domain name. A single user dialling the same NAS several times will therefore access each CAS in turn.

However, such feature forbids the use of multilink, since each multilink channel is seen as an individual PPP session. A remote user would therefore

open successive multilink channels on different CASs and packets would be lost.

SGBP was aimed at resolving that problem and allowing multilink and loadsharing. But this feature has been under development in Cisco for many

months and still does not seem to be any closer to operational release.

Can anyone shed light on when this feature is likely to be released?

SGBP has been out for some time now.

One caveat to be aware of is SGBP uses PPP authentication and may fail when PPP is set for Radius authentication.
