Logging different severity messages in buffer and syslog server

Is there a possible way to log messages of certain severity levels in the memory buffer and send messages of different severity to the syslog server.

For e.g is it possible that messages of severity levels 3,2,1,0 only gets logged in the router buffer whereas messages of severity level 6,5,4,3,2,1,0 are sent to the syslog server.

Re: Logging different severity messages in buffer and syslog ser

Brajesh,

'logging buffer ' controls what level messages are logged to the local buffer.

'logging trap ' controls what level messages are logged to an external syslog.
