We're having problems fractionalizing a T-1 and I wanted to test the inside network to make sure everything is configuring and passing data. I'm looping up the inside, and wanted to know if the serial line protocol should come up.
If your encap is HDLC on your serial line, and you loop it, the line should come UP/UP (looped). If your encap is not HDLC, it should be up/down (looped).
