Loopback0 into two different OSPF processes possible?

Hi,

I want to put one loopback-interface into two different OSPF processes.

Reason:

I need two ospf processes because the router has a connection into two autonomous systems both running ospf (MPLS carrier to carrier router). And I need one ID (IP-address) which represents the router itself to both sides (eg. for MPLS "tdp router-id").

How can I implement the loopback-address into both processes? (simply adding through network statement to both has not functioned correctly)

Regards,

Chris

have you tried router-id xxx under each ospf process ??

You will need to have unique RIDs within each OSPF process on a router.

Using router-id to force this should produce an error stating that it is in use by another process.

Hope this helps,

Don
