Losing connectivity after router upgrade

We’ve recently installed three new routers: two 1700 series and one 2600 series and are having some connectivity problems. The 2600 is our main or host router and is located in the same physical location as our AS/400 server. All clients in the remote locations connect to the 2600 to reach the AS/400. The old routers that we will slowly replace are 1005 series and run RIP v1. The new routers are using EIGRP (OS v12.2). Both TCP/IP and IPX/SPX are routed. Since we installed the two 1700 and the 2600, we’ve been having intermittent connectivity problems with the 2 remote locations. The connection drops for mere seconds, which is all it takes to disable the AS/400 clients. Since these are the only locations we are having problems with, I’m certain it has to do with the new routers configuration.

On another note, what is Cisco's news server? I would like to read/post through Outlook Express.

Re: Losing connectivity after router upgrade

We need to know that kind of connectiion is there between 1700s which are remote routers connecting with 2600 router. Based on that we can troubleshoot the connectivity issues.
