OK, let me start by saying I have read all the docs on Long Range Ethernet. I have also contacted TAC. My question is this: We have a remote facility in which we will be running LRE to a number of buildings, one of these buildings is about 6800 feet away from the LRE switch. Per Cisco "maximum of 5000 feet over good copper cable plant".
I would like to know if anyone has pushed LRE beyond the 5000 feet and if so how did it work. I am fully expecting less throughput, which is acceptable. We just need to get connectivity to this location, I don't care if it is 1 Mbps.
thanks in advance
