Rebooted Cat5000 RSM IOS 12.1.19 This action caused the module to change the MAC address on the VLAN ethernet interface. The switch is networked via ATM backbone.I am not familiar with this type of behavior Should I be concerned about a security breech?

Hello,
AFAIK, this is normal behaviour. When running Cisco IOS (Native), L2 interfaces have mac-addresses assigned from each module's range of mac-address. This range can be seen below using the
show module
command, it should give the range of MAC addresses available for that module. The output should be similar to this:
Mod MAC addresses Hw Fw Sw Status
--- ---------------------------------- ------ ------------ ------------ -------
3 0030.f270.ce3b to 0030.f270.ce4a 1.0 6.1(3) 7.5(0.6)HUB1 Ok

Georg
