Maintenance Issue

Does maintenance agreement allow a person to download and use any IOS version provided for that platform? Are upgrades of IOS allowed by the maintenance agreement?

If I am running IP only IOS, can I legally download and use IP/IPX version if I have maitenance agreement on that device?

As far as i know you can upgrade to a newer version of the current release that you are using ie. you can upgrade from 12.1(5) to 12.1(13) but not to

12.2(x). You also have to stay on the same platform you cant go from IP only SW to IP/IPX.
