managed device syslog messages show up int Unexpected Device Reports

I deleted a 2600 router from CW2K RME 3.2. Changed its name and readded the device. IP info did not change. Now the syslog messages all show up in the "Unexpected Device Report" under the old name. Any suggestions??

One thing is to check DATE on the device. If the timestamp on the device is older than the timestamp on the RME machine, the log messages will be put in the unexpected device category.

all clocks are synced to central ntp server.

Used nslookup, Mgt station to device tools to test connectivity by name.

All tools resolved correct name and IP.

All tools failed when trying to resolve old name and IP.
