Management Addresses between Cat4k Sup-3 and Sup-2 boxes

I have 2 cat4006's trunked together via dot1q, working fine. The one with the Sup-3 is VTP server, the Sup-2 is VTP client. I get a proper address via DHCP from the Sup-2 box so that is working fine. However I cannot ping one box from the other via the Mgt addresses which are on the same subnet. The VLANs are being sent to the client box fine as shown by a "show vlan". But it does not show the IP's assigned to the VLANs in the Sup-3 box???

On the Sup-2 box, I am using int me1. On the Sup-3 box, I have VLAN 1 setup with an address in the same subnet. What do I need to do to ping and Telnet between these boxes?

TIA

You need to configure the sc0 interface on the Sup2. me1 is used only for disaster recovery. Shut down me1 and move the ip address to sc0
