Manually trigger the PRI to dial

I want to implement back up structure that has PRI at the center. I don't want to use dialer watch or floating static routes. I only want to manually dial from PRI to BRI whenever I want. Is it possible?

Re: Manually trigger the PRI to dial

Yes, just configure your PRI interface as you would if you are

using floating static routes and "shutdown" the interface.

when you want to use the link, do a "no shut" and there you go

or simplpy remove the RJ45 cable and put it back when you want to use the link.
