Many remote users connecting through ISDN with the same username receive the same IP address

Is it normal that many remote users connecting through ISDN with the same username receive the same IP address?

We have a router with a PRI interface for remote access to the office.

By default, all the remote users are using

the same "username" and "password" pair when connecting through ISDN.

An "ip local pool" is also configured for the remote users to get an IP address.

The problem is that every user get the same IP address from the "ip local pool".

In other words, if two or more users use the same "username/password" pair they get the same ip address !!!

Question 1: Is it normal?

Question 2: Can we change this behaviour?

Re: Many remote users connecting through ISDN with the same user

You need to add these commands under the dialer interface:

ppp ipcp ignore-map

dialer mult-map-same-name
