Hi,
We have got a customer with a couple of 3620's running back to back with a 8Mg HISSI interface to provide a WAN link between their two sites.
The routers are only configured with 10Mg ethernet cards which connect back to there loacl switches.
My question is, in theory, how much traffic can a 10 mg interface (running full duplex) take before it starts getting errors ?. There is already a high number of input errors on that interface and was wondering if it was the through put which was causing it. FYI, Its currently running at between 3-6 Mg of traffic.
Cheers
Tristan

on a full duplex, it shouldn't be thru put causing ther errors. What type of errors are they?

Input errors. They arn't all the time only when the traffic peeks to over 5mg ish which made me ask the question ......
Thanks.
