Meaning of "DS0's Active High Water Mark"

Correct me if I'm wrong:

The command: show controller E1 call-counters states some counters like:

DS0's Active High Water Mark ( per controller )

System's DS0's Active High Water Mark

So, if I want to check if I need to upgrade my incoming lines then I only need to compare the System's DS0's Active High Water Mark with my maximum number of incoming lines, correct ?

You are right. The "Total DS0's Active High Water Mark" SHOULD be the maximum number of DS0s that were active at once, since the last reload or clearing of counters.
