memory leak

Hi, I seem to be suffering from a leak! I'm using a 2621 router with c2600-is-mz.122-3.bin. 48M RAM and 16M flash.

Kitted out with a 4 port IMA/ATM card, we are also running OSPF, 500k of multicast traffic and 500k of FTP.

Router seems to prevent futher telnet connections and some unicast traffic fails to be routed.

I have fed the console error messages into the Cisco error interpreter which wasn't much use. It said software error and contact Cisco. We have tried upgrading the IOS on router with a similar fault but we still get the leaks. We upgraded to c2600-is-mz.122-19a.bin. They seem to do this every month or so.

Any ideas?

Hello Nathan,

not sure what you have already looked at, but is there any process that might use a lot of CPU (show proc cpu) ?

Regards,

Georg
