One of our site was facing problems due to heavy virus attacks. Hence the L3 - 6506 Core Switch utilisation was increased to above 90 %. The problem is now resolved but I have one quary is that can I kill processess by firing any command or only Power Off is the solution which will release unnecessary processes.

There is no specific IOS command to kill a process by its PID. Only alternative is to reboot the router or if it is a valid process like BGP, then you can temporarily for troubleshooting can do disable BGP. The CPU and memory resources used by BGP will replenish back.
