Messy network integration

I am doing cleanup work on a LAN. I am trying to integrate a local network with the prior hardware from two LANs.

I have an ISDN line coming in to a MS workgroup environment. I also have the following hardware:

1 - 678

1 - 804

1 - 3Com 8-port Hub

1 - 3Com 8-port Switch

1 - Digi 8-port Switch

The main Server has never been connected to anything other than a modem, and has to have PC-Anywhere running on it. It also needs to share the ISDN with the group.

One of the client PCs (now integrated), used to have the 678 attached to it, and it shared the ISDN to the group.

I need to have the server connected as the ISDN shared resource, as well as remote accessability to another city.

Re: Messy network integration

hi there,

according to your post you have:

1-678 (ADSL Router which you can use for internet browsing)

1-804 (ISDN Router which you can use for remote access to your server.

rest put all the systems in one ip subnet (192.168.0.1 255.255.255.0 for example), assign ip address of ADSL router as the gateway.

this should do the job for you
