MGX command "cnfconpref -onPrefRte" means

Friends, can you tell me the meaning of option "onPrefRte" undet command "cnfconpref".

Does the option "yes" means that if preferred route is not available, connection won't come up at all

My requirement is that if my preferred route is down then PNNI should take any other route and if it comes back then PNNI should switch to Preferred route (without manual intervention to reset the connections)

Please advice.

The '-onPrefRte' option will not prevent the connection from coming up if he preferred route is unavailable. The '-direct' option will.
