Hi,
I'm trying to get a RAS connection to work using a remote PC and Modem to dial up via PPP into a 3640 BRI interface and have the Call terminate on the Mica Modem module. I'm getting the following error though;
00:10:05: %CSM-1-HWREV: The T1 or E1 network module is incompatible with the dig
ital modems: MODEM_REPORT
Can you help please?
regards
Paul

It's not a WIC-1B-S/T module by any chance?

Yes it is, just a standard BRI interface WIC. Will it not work so and if no why not?
Thanks
Paul

WIC BRI do not support MICA modems..... the smallest card you can used are the NM-4B....
It's just the way cisco make them I guess... It's to do with the CSMs....check with the TAC.. I am sure they will tell you the same thing....

Paul,
WIC card's are do not have internal digital modem support. It needs to be a BRI network module to have this capability. In this doc if you go to features and look at the last point it specifically says that WIC's are not supported for MICA.
