Migration from ISDN to On-ramp

We will be migrating from isdn microlink to onramp soon. I just want to ensure that our AS5300 will work after the migration. The switch-type setting

isdn switch-type primary-net5

should work for onramp correct? Is there any issues that we should be aware of for the migration to onramp?

Not applicable

No, there should not be any outstanding

issues, and net5 is the normal choice.

Here is one point found in our archives:

"The only 'gotcha' that I am aware

of, and this applied to the 'old' Australian

ISDN, was that Telstra's billing software

could only handle the ISDN call being placed in

ONE direction. I don't know if this applies

to the 'new' European ISDN services.

So, try and set it up to call from

the 'A' end to the 'B' end."
