MLPPP and ACL problem

I have a customer that has a 2621xm router, 12.2.13 IP/FW software that has a MLPPP bundle with two T1's for Internet Access. Everything looks great, good throughput. As soon as he is using ACL's and CBAC on the Multilink interface, the throughput is very low, maybe 200-300 Kbps. What options do we have?

one posibility is that your access lists could be too restrictive. use the links provided below to verify you configuration and troubleshoot throughput reduction on employment of access control lists.

use the [show ip access-list] command to determine of too much traffic is being denied.

the following link will provide indepth information on how to configure access lists.

Hi,

Thanks for your message. I am sorry that I did not mention, but the same ACL and CBAC do not have any impact on the performance when only one T1 Internet Access is used (PPP encapsulation). Also, when two T1's are used (MLPPP) the router CPU is low - 7-10%
