MLS on C4506-L2 with external router

Hi,

is it possible to configure mls on a Catalyst 4506 with an external router. We use a SE4 with IOS 12.1(14) E1. Temporarily we use it without IP-routing.

During the migration process we would like to use it as a layer 2 device. That is why we need mls with an external router.

Supervisor 3/4 uses CEF based forwarding. You cannot do MLS on it.
