MMP on Cisco Router

Can I implement MMP (Multichassis Multilink PPP) on Cisco Router using synchronous serial interface ? Basically, the configuration involve having two Cisco 2600 connecting to Internet using two leased-lines and using MMP to load-balance out-going and incoming Internet traffic.

Re: MMP on Cisco Router

The interfaces in use are irrelevant to

MMPPP; the only requirement is that

the interface support MPPP (or, more

explicitly PPP encapsulation), which is

the case with all serial interfaces.

Note that if the links are high speed, you

may have to disable fragmentation to

improve performance.
