We have a 3620 with NM-6DM connected ISDN PRI. Box is currently working fine as a NAS however I would like to utilise the modems to allow dial out from the LAN. Cisco used to have a software product called Cisco DialOut Utility that allowed you to configure your PCs to use the shared pool of analogue modems on an access server such as the AS5300. This software is no longer available, I have found a product called DialOut/EZ which supports the Cisco Access Servers. Has anyone used this? If so how is it to set up on the clients and also on the Access Server?
I have now installed DialOut/EZ, it works up to the point of dialling, the dial up connection then fails with the message "modem busy". It seems odd as there are 30 channels available on the ISDN line. Any ideas?
