Modem Pool problem on AS5350

We were just given an AS5350 (running IOS 12.1(7)XM7) to replace an

exisiting AS5200. This AS5200 is using 2 PRIs running NFAS and 4

pools that split into respective group-async ports.

While attempting to configure the AS5350, I found that the 5350 does

not accept commands relative to modem pools. The user can still dial in and

authenticate, but without modem pools, I have no way of separating users

into specific address ranges, ACLs and such.

As I'm not familiar with the AS5350, I researched all over Cisco's web-site

and found nothing on modem polls and the AS5350. Does this platform even

support modem pools? If not, how do I get it to work like the AS5200?

Help!!

Thanks..

Brent

Modem pooling on AS5350 is replaced by Resource Pool Manager feature. .So on all the Nextport based platforms like AS5350, AS5400, AS5850, you need to use RPM now..You may be using modem pooling based on DNIS on mica based platforms (5200 and 5300 etc) Here is the url which explains you how to configure RPM based on DNIS
