Module not recognized 6513

When I reboot the 6513 I am getting a message that the modules are ndot recognized. What could be the problem?

This is a new box and all the line cards are in place.

what kind of modules ? are you running native or hybrid ? what code are you on ? does it recognize any modules ? Please paste in a sh ver

Can you please point me to process of installing software for 6513 and clearing all the config so that I can start afresh.

I will try to access the switch and get you the info.

It does not recognize any except the sup2 mod [mod 1]

I also have a switch fabric module in slot 8

What is the best version to use? Are there multiple images that I need to upload?

6.4(4a) which is GD should be a good software provided it supports all the line cards you have. If you need to be in 7.x, 7.6(x) is the only "live" train

Make sure you read the release notes to check for known issues

The module might need a higher revision of software. Check the release notes for minimum supported software
