Monitor ACL with MRTG

Is it possible to monitor an ACL with MRTG? I want to see if there is an increase in denied traffic without logging in the router or looking through the syslogs.

MRTG uses SNMP MIBs to poll the info and currently there's no MIB for monitoring ACLs.

with "ip accounting access-violations" to poll the entries?
