monitoring a port

We're attempting to monitor a network utilization on a port on our Cat 5500 switch using CV5.3. I right click on the port, select "monitor" and change the Category to "Interface". I see the Utilization window, however the Utilization stays flat at 0%. Is this indicator not a good measure of the network utilization on a port ?

Did you check to see if other ports on the switch also show 0% utilization in the CV graphs?. Also, did you install the latest version of CV device package from CCO for this Cat5K switch?

You can use some other snmp tools or poll via CLI to see if the results match with what CV is showing to be sure that it's not a application problem.

Is there a way to increase the scale of the utilization reporting?
