Monitoring traffic through a 1710 router (usage)

This should be an easy one but I just wanted to know what is the best way of monitoring the usage, or traffic that goes through a 1710 router. I have been warned that my clients ISP usage meter is suspect and want to periodically check that the usage according to the ISP is what is actually going through the router.

Hi Cleve

The average utilisation of the router can be known using a tool called the MRTG and the stability also can be monitored using several third party tools like IPMonitor.

These are essentially third party tools and can be obtained from the Web for free.
