More than 2 SPAN Destinations

I keep hearing that you will be able to have any number of local SPAN sources and destinations and there will no longer be a 2 port destination limitation. Is this true or false? Has anyone heard anything on this?

I couldn't find any document saying more than 2 number of SPAN sessions can be supported with the current ASICs. I heard it supports only 2 sessions.

Hi.

You need a TAP-Technologie (like a NETOPTICS TAP) to do this.

With a multiport-TAP, you can measure a Datastream with up to 8 Trace-Tools
