Could you please advise the best pair of Cisco Routers to use for linking an outlying office of approx 30 users to our main LAN. Our WAN connection is a Bristish Telecom 2Mbps Megastream connection. Either end of the connection there will be a 10/100Mbps Ethernet LAN (running TCP/IP). We don't need anything fancy like VPNs Firewalls etc, just the best and most reliable option. Your advice is greatly appreciated.
Thanks for that. We currently use a Cisco 2600 router internally, but I would have thought this would have been a bit of overkill for a small outlying office. Do you think the 1700 routers would be better? I await your thoughts.
