I am trying to practice MPLS in my lab, 5 4500's for P and PE routers with a couple 2500 and 1600's for CE routers. When I apply the "ip vrf forwarding vrf1" command to the serial interface traffic stops going out the interface. And yes I am reapplying the IP address on the interface. The interface is however still accepting traffic. I see the RIP updates coming from the CE router and they do go into the BGP VPNv4 table. But nothing goes out, RIP updates, or pings to the CE router serial interface. Thanx for you help in advance.
