What do I need to run MPLS on the router? Will it run on an X.25 environment?

Hi!

You need routers and IOS that support CEF and MPLS feature.

Works on some 26/26/3700, but recommend start with 7200.

I dont see a reason why MPLS should not run on a X.25 environment. MPLS is infact media independent. You will need to enable CEF on the router inorder to run MPLS. Usually MPLS is run only by ISPs in their core network. MPLS is much faster compared to conventional routing.
