On a Frame-relay DS3 running 45M to over 250 PVCs with varialbe port and CIRs. Are there any issues with an MTU setting set at the DS3 side to a much larger setting than the remote sights??? note: all eithernet ports are set on both sides to default 1500.
One issue i can tell is fragmentation is most probable at other end routers which can increase CPU utilization at them. My suggestion, to keep it uniform within the network.
